Orangewood Blossom Bash

We spent the last couple of days working with the Orangewood Children's Foundations Orange Blossom Bash this past Saturday at the Lyons Air Museum in Santa Ana. This event was to celebrate the accomplishments of General Lyons and the community involvement that he and his family have given to Orange County.

From concept to completion, the Infinity Lighting Team put together a stellar lighting and audio system coupled with live video and numerous media sources for the live auction and dinner celebration of General Lyons.

The room was lit up in colorful tones of orange L.E.D.'s to create a dramatic tone behind the large aircraft's that are housed in the hanger. Orange lighting as truss warmers adds depth and propels the theme of the night. Almost a dozen moving lights added to the ambiance and the stage was illuminated with brilliant stage wash highlighted by followspots.

There was cocktails, dinner and dancing along with a live auction that raised 10's of thousands of dollars for this deserving cause. The Infinity Lighting Team gave a small donation of nearly $2500 as a gift back to the charity that has touched their lives in so many ways.

In the end, after 28+ hours of set-up, rehearsals, event time and strike, we call this event a success. A success because the atmosphere we helped create raised some money for a worthy cause and honored a deserving man, General Lyons. We spent the last couple of days working with the Orangewood Children's Foundations Orange Blossom Bash this past Saturday at the Lyons Air Museum in Santa Ana.
