Holiday's with Infinity

Though the holiday's are still a few days away, the Holiday party season has concluded for us in 2009. It has been an exciting month filled with snowflakes, Santa, elves, photo booth fun, casino tables and quite a bit of dancing. Yes, 2009 was a tough year for many companies but those that chose to have a holiday event did it with style and flair. Here are a couple of pics from the last couple of events we worked on.

The Grove of Anaheim was the backdrop for this holiday celebration. Great entertainment coupled with lighting and audio inside and out. Falling snowflakes created the atmosphere of this winter wonderland.

Providence Speech and Hearing Center Benefit & Fundraiser

We had the honor of working with the Providence Speech and Hearing Center on November 14th for their annual fundraiser that raised over $250,000.00. A Western Theme filled with costumes, silent auction items and a lively auction that raised so much money for such a good cause.

The Eventive Group provided the meeting management for the event and with a team of voluntEARS from Disney and others the evening was as huge success. It was nice to see so many people come together for such a good cause and a big thank you to the main sponsors for the event Word and Brown, and Comerica.

We are still booking holiday events for lighting, DJ and Photo Booths!! So let us know how we can help.

Kevin and Julie July 25th 2009 Anaheim Hills

Saturday was the perfect night for a wedding. Great weather, friends and family to help celebrate the nuptials of Kevin and Julie. At the picturesque, Anaheim Hills Country Club under the direction of Wendy, the ceremony and reception were wonderful backdrop for all to dance the night away.

The room was decorated with shades and tints of blue to capture the essence of the atmosphere that Kevin and Julie were looking for.

From the start of the reception to the very last song there was a large mix of music, food and dancing and guests danced the night away. Michael Good was there to capture all of the magic and preserve those memories

A song CD was the party favor for the guests to take home with the hits of the night.

What a great night and such a great couple.

Below is a little montage we put together of the evening for the couple to enjoy, we hope you enjoy it as well.

Jeremy & Debbie Wedding

Jeremy and Debbie's wedding this past weekend was a night to remember. The scene was set with a lovely day in San Clemente with a string trio for the ceremony, mariachis for the cocktail hour and a DJ for the dinner reception.Eating, dancing and celebrating are exactly what the couple in visioned for their wedding.

Taryn from Primaevents coordinated the ceremony and wedding flawlessly and Michael Voorhees from Talega Golf Club made sure the room was perfect and the food exquisite. The event was spirited with a number of toasts to the couple and everyone dancing the evening away. Steve from Honored Occasions provide the DJ and MC service for the wedding and they played a large range of dance hits from Michael Jackson to Frank Sinatra all the way to the Black Eyed Peas. Even the bride was quoted as saying "Steve, I knew you were going rock this party!"

At the very bottom of this blog is a montage we put together for the couple.

The Jack Randall Photography team captured each moment for the bride and groom so they will remember the evening forever. The bride and groom left very happy and fulfilled on to their honeymoon.

Starry Night Wedding

The Infinity Lighting design group teamed up with Honored Occasions Lighting for a wedding at Los Coyotes Country Club last month. From concept to completion, the two companies worked in tandem to create the "themed look" of the evening. The vision was and inspiration was "Starry Night" by Vincent Van Gogh.

The evening was filled with live music, a mariachi band and DJ spinning the tunes. To top it off, the bride serenaded her new husband.

The color palette was bright blues and stark purples with the ceiling covered in stars.

A wonderful evening for all to enjoy.

Picture Perfect Wedding in Lake Arrowhead

Weddings on the Lake are so beautiful and couple that with two people that are destined to be together makes a perfect wedding. Angela and Michael decided to have a Destination Wedding and asked for help from Infinity Lighting and Honored Occasions DJ to create the right atmosphere for their wedding guests. The room was elegantly lit and the couples "initial" was projected on the dance floor.

People ate, drank and danced the night away, what a great party. The moments were captured by our good friend at Joel Austell Photography who shot the wedding with hybrid digital and video camera. You have got to see this slideshow montage that he put together.WEDDING DAY MONTAGE

This was one of the most picturesque weddings we had the pleasure of working with and a family that was so tight and filled with so much love, it was a truly an honor to be part of the day.

Our weeks at The Montage and the St. Regis

We had the pleasure of working with the same health care company on both of their programs. It was the first time that (2) divisions were on the west coast, a week apart and only separated by mile or so.

Providing the lighting component for the general sessions as well as the special events became a challenge. How do you go from a simple stage to impressive event design (with only a matter of hours?) L.E.D’s and a little help from our friends at Event Works. The Event Works team knows how to bring out the best to create an extravaganza. Scenery coupled with our L.E.D’s made the stage transform in the matter of hours. From general session to Hawaiian to Beach Sunset to Awards on to Moroccan. We had the challenge to create (7) different looks,

themes and designs over the two weeks. In the end, the clients left very satisfied with the level of service and design that all the teams helped bring to make this event a success.

Special thanks to Jeremy from Five Star with The Montage and Destination Pros for all the logistic assistance and the team effort for the clients

Orangewood Blossom Bash

We spent the last couple of days working with the Orangewood Children's Foundations Orange Blossom Bash this past Saturday at the Lyons Air Museum in Santa Ana. This event was to celebrate the accomplishments of General Lyons and the community involvement that he and his family have given to Orange County.

From concept to completion, the Infinity Lighting Team put together a stellar lighting and audio system coupled with live video and numerous media sources for the live auction and dinner celebration of General Lyons.

The room was lit up in colorful tones of orange L.E.D.'s to create a dramatic tone behind the large aircraft's that are housed in the hanger. Orange lighting as truss warmers adds depth and propels the theme of the night. Almost a dozen moving lights added to the ambiance and the stage was illuminated with brilliant stage wash highlighted by followspots.

There was cocktails, dinner and dancing along with a live auction that raised 10's of thousands of dollars for this deserving cause. The Infinity Lighting Team gave a small donation of nearly $2500 as a gift back to the charity that has touched their lives in so many ways.

In the end, after 28+ hours of set-up, rehearsals, event time and strike, we call this event a success. A success because the atmosphere we helped create raised some money for a worthy cause and honored a deserving man, General Lyons. We spent the last couple of days working with the Orangewood Children's Foundations Orange Blossom Bash this past Saturday at the Lyons Air Museum in Santa Ana.
